Where's the Bus (2024)

Where’s the Bus was created in 24 hours as part of an online hackathon but I always wanted to expand on the idea properly so that it would become an app I could actually use. So when I took CMPT 362 - Mobile App Development in Fall 2024 I worked with a group of 4 friends and we made our term project a redux of Where’s the Bus.

The new version

retrieves live transit information from Translink’s GTFS feed
includes a map view that shows nearby bus stops based on your current location
sends scheduled live notifications for specific bus trips
has a dark mode
